CAMPUS MINISTRY SEEKS BOOKS FOR BROTHERS OF CHARITY
Last summer, CUA sent a mission trip to Tanzania to assist the Brothers of Charity in their good work in the small town of Kigoma. During this trip students witnessed firsthand the desperate need for basic educational resources.
This year, the Office of Campus Ministry is collecting books to start a university-level academic library in Kigoma. The Brothers have especially requested books in the fields of education, nursing and social work, but they will be grateful for any books in any field which could be part of a simple university-level academic library. They will also accept other university- and high school-level textbooks which will be distributed to local schools.
Alumni wishing to donate books are asked to bring their donations to the Office of Campus Ministry before Friday, April 24. For more information, call 202-319-5575.
