On Thursday, April 3, join fellow CUA alums at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia as fantasy and reality join forces in "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination."
Join us as we explore this, the first exhibition to showcase costumes and props from all six Star Wars films while also exploring cutting-edge research and modern technologies that could one day make the fantasy world of Star Wars a reality.
We've reserved a block of tickets exclusively for CUA alumni. Tickets are just $25, and include appetizers before the tour at The Public House (1801 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19103) from 6 to 8 p.m.

On Thursday, April 24, we invite CUA alumni and friends in the Boston area to join us for a reception in the Atlantic Ballroom of the new Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel (606 Congress Street).
From 6 to 8 p.m., mingle with fellow alums and friends of CUA and hear the latest news about your alma mater from Very Reverend David M. O'Connell, C.M., president of The Catholic University of America. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

D.C. Universities Young Alum "Happy Hour Hoopla"
March Madness is here! This Thursday, March 27, at 5:30 p.m., join alums from Catholic, Georgetown, George Mason, and American universities at the two-story Penn Quarter Sports Tavern (639 Indiana Avenue, N.W. — Red Line, Gallery Place; Yellow/Green Line, Archives-Navy Memorial) as we watch the second round of the NCAA basketball tournament. There'll be food and drink specials, prizes, and more!

Sean Tuohey, B.A. 1999, and his brother Brendan Tuohey received the Laureus Sport for Good award on Feb. 25 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The two brothers were recognized for founding the basketball organization Peace Players International project in 2001, which has reached more than 45,000 children in global conflict areas.

After graduating from CUA, Christopher Rizzo, B.A. 1997, went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree, marry his "CUA Sweetheart," Karen Wilson, B.S.N. 1997, and establish his very own law firm.
