Over the past four months, the Office of Alumni Relations hit the road for a summer full of Major League Baseball fun in each of our chapter cities as we met up with CUA alums in Boston, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. A big "thank you" to all who attended, and we hope you enjoyed catching up with old classmates and friends as we celebrated "America's Pastime" in each of our chapter cities.

On Nov. 8, 2007, CUA, in partnership with the Opus Prize Foundation, will be singing the praises (to the tune of $1 million) of an amazing unsung hero at a dinner at the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center.
The $1 million Opus Prize is awarded annually to a humanitarian hero from anywhere in the world who combines an abiding faith with an entrepreneurial spirit to combat such dire social problems as poverty, illiteracy, hunger and disease. This prize is given to support the recipient’s nonprofit organization and to inspire others, particularly students, to integrate service into their lives.
Finalists for this year’s prize will be announced soon and we will introduce you to them in next month’s newsletter. |
