July 2007

We're continuing our summer-long countdown to Homecoming and Reunions Weekend, Oct. 19–20, 2007, and so we're shining a spotlight on two more CUA class years that will be celebrating a reunion this fall. This month, we've added photos of the classes of 1992 and 1987. Click here to see this month's galleries (which join photos from the classes of 2002 and 1997), and check back often as we continue our celebration with photos dating all the way back to our newest Golden Cardinals, the Class of 1957

CUA ITALY 2007: ART, ARCHITECTURE, AND VINO!

Eighteen excited CUA alumni, family and friends departed the D.C. area on July 1 for eight days in Italy on a tour organized by Alumni Holidays Inc. We visited Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Colle di Val d'Elsa and San Gimignano. We stayed the week at the beautiful Villa Borgo di Cortefreda, with an infinity pool and a fabulous view of vineyards and olive trees just outside of Tavernelle Val di Pesa. Click here to view photos of our trip.

The next alumni trip planned is an Ireland Pub and Shopping Tour, Nov. 29 Dec. 4, 2007. For information on this trip, click the banner at the bottom of this newsletter or contact Frank Persico, B.A. 1974, M.A. 1976, in the Office of the President by calling 202-319-5100.
