Susan Oetgen earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from The Catholic University of America in 1999, and still gets nostalgic for the cherry trees in the courtyard of the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, not to mention Thomas Reilly’s tough love coaching and Jane Tavernier’s impeccable ear for detail.

Trained as a classical coloratura, Susan has since applied her voice to a great many musical projects, including opera, zarzuela, classical and contemporary art song, jazz, pop and her own original vocal music. To learn more about Susan, visit the
Alumni Spotlight.
