This fall, CUA's School of Library and Information Science kicks off a celebration of its 25th Anniversary. To start, the SLIS Alumni Board will be hosting an Afternoon Tea at D.C.'s famous Mansion at O Street on Saturday, October 14 with proceeds to benefit the School's Elizabeth Stone scholarship.

On Monday, September 18, CUA's School of Arts & Sciences cordially invites all graduates and friends of the CUA Drama Department to join them for an evening reception at the Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre in New York City.

The CUA Alumni Association invites all alumni who might be in the area to attend a fun and free luncheon with their current student relatives! Kick off Family Weekend by sharing in the recognition of those who make CUA a family tradition! The Legacy Luncheon will be hosted in McMahon Hall Foyer on Friday, September 29 from noon to 2:00 p.m.

Highlighted event for Homecoming and Reunions Weekend 2006 Cardinal Celebration: Alumni Awards Banquet!

Join "A Cardinal Celebration" and meet some of CUA's most accomplished alumni. Andrea Roane, co-anchor of 9News and university trustee, will be the distinguished Master of Ceremonies. The evening includes an elegant dinner and awards program that will celebrate six accomplished CUA
alumni. Help us honor these wonderful representatives of CUA!

Are you a history buff? Join your fellow CUA alums on Saturday, September 30 for a guided tour of the battlefield of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania led by noted Civil War historian Garry E. Adelman! Tickets for the tour are only $45, and include lunch and transportation to and from Gettysburg. The bus will leave the parking lot of CUA at 8:30 a.m.

On Thursday, September 21, CUA is pleased to welcome back to campus Tarek Saab, B.E.E. 2001, and contestant for Season 5 of NBC's ‘The Apprentice’ with Donald Trump, and his business partner, Dave Colletti, Jr., B.A. 2000, for the first installment of this year's Young Alumni Guest Speaker Series.

After the presentation... Join Tarek and Dave at Fado Irish Pub - located at 808 7th St NW (one block from the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro).  Afterwards, stay for a great concert as Dave's friends,
Scythian, perform at Fado at 9 p.m.
